As part of AM TRACE’s partnership with the National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP), we sponsored a webinar centered around “State Strategies to Build Vaccine Confidence.” Our very own Managing Director of Strategic Engagement, Jens Dakin, spoke alongside others from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Oregon Health Authority to explore drivers of vaccine hesitancy, current efforts to undermine vaccine confidence and spread misinformation, and how targeted interventions and communications campaigns can support pandemic recovery. Watch the recording of the webinar below.
To further assist communities with their COVID-19 mitigation efforts, AM TRACE created a tool for identifying and addressing vaccine hesitancy. This is discussed in more detail in the webinar recording and can be downloaded on the AM TRACE website.
Our vaccine hesitancy ebook is another critical resource. AM TRACE can help public health and government officials develop and implement effective coronavirus response campaigns that are informed by science, data, and experience. We focus on learning from and listening to communities at the outset, which enables us to localize and personalize messaging that resonates and endures. The impact of vaccinations has been extremely promising, but the U.S. faces the ongoing challenge of ensuring the health and safety of hard-to-reach and hesitant individuals.
AM TRACE is currently working nationwide with multiple states and public health agencies on testing, contact tracing and vaccination programs. Counties, states, or K-12 partners that are interested in joining AM TRACE for COVID-19 mitigation support should contact Dr. Christopher K Orlea at email@example.com.
