AM TRACE Recognizes One Year of Supporting Public Health Departments in COVID-19 Response

WASHINGTON (May 10, 2021) – AM TRACE LLC, a public health firm that supports state and local health departments to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in their communities, today reached its first year in business after being founded directly in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. AM TRACE was built to work with local public health agencies and community organizations to address large-scale public health challenges such as COVID-19.

For the past year, AM TRACE has helped local public health departments rapidly respond to the pandemic through vaccine management and distribution, testing coordination, and contact tracing services. Since its founding, the Company has grown from four employees to over 650 employees across the United States.

Among some of their most notable accomplishments, AM TRACE has collectively engaged with more than 250,000 COVID-19 positive individuals through case investigation services, logged 1.2 million call minutes, booked over 50,000 vaccine appointments, and evaluated 85 vaccine clinics sites.

“A year ago we set out with a singular focus: support public health through the greatest health emergency of our generation,” commented Erin Joanna Thames, COO of AM TRACE. “As the pandemic continues so does our work, although, now through the lens of hope brought by vaccines. We remain committed to the public’s health and to our mission to alleviate the burdens placed on organizations in place to protect it. TRACE will continue in our work to support COVID-19 related services nationwide, but will also look forward to our future and how to best support public health. We strive to become an organization best suited to buoy the public health community’s response to future pandemics, public health emergencies, and disasters.”

AM TRACE is currently working nationwide with multiple states and public health agencies on testing, tracing, and vaccination programs. Counties or states that are interested in partnering with AM TRACE for COVID-19 mitigation support should contact Chief Experience Officer, Dr. Chris Orlea at
