AM TRACE Provides Grant Writing Support: CDC National Initiative to Address COVID-19

WASHINGTON (April 22, 2021) – AM TRACE, LLC, a public health firm that supports state and local health departments, is dedicated to mitigating the spread of COVID-19.

At TRACE, there is a team of skilled professionals and subject matter experts who specialize in health disparities, rural and at-risk groups, vaccine hesitancy, grant writing, program development and evaluation, logic model creation and review, and data analysis. As professional grant writers, they understand the critical role that government funding plays.

This grant is funded through the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2021 and is expected to award funding to up to 108 state, local, territorial, and freely associated state health departments, or their bona fide agents. This groundbreaking funding represents CDC’s largest investment to date focusing on reducing health disparities related to COVID-19. This CDC program encourages partnerships with local businesses and they hope that TRACE can fulfill this role.

With a deadline to submit of May 3, 2021 – they’re ready to help.  A standout feature of this opportunity is its classification: non-competitive. To paraphrase this grant: if you submit a complete application, and meet eligibility guidelines – you receive funds. Eligible applicants are:

  1. State health departments – average award: $32,000,000
  2. Local health departments that serve a county or city population of 2,000,000 or more – average award: $26,000,000
  3. Local health departments that serve a city population between 400,000 – 2,000,000 – average award: $5,000,000
